March 3: Critique Night:
Our March 3 meeting will be a Critique Night, with John Tunney providing a review of images submitted by members. John is an accomplished photographer, educator, author and past president of the Cape Cod Art Center. Members can submit two images to WCCameraClub@gmail.com; John will provide a critique of each submitted photo, along with suggestions for ways to potentially improve your images. The meeting will begin at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 3. Look to our MeetUp page for Zoom link details.
March 9 Mentor Night: Bracketing and HDR. The next Mentor Night will offer a workshop on how to combine exposure bracketing with HDR post-processing to create dynamic, impactful images. Kelly Smith will lead the discussion, beginning at 7:00PM on Tuesday, March 9.
March 17 Meeting: Peter Perreira on Photojournalism:
Well-known photojournalist and New Bedford Standard Times photographer Peter Perreira will join us for a presentation on photojournalism at our March 17 meeting. A regular contributor to the Whaling City Camera Club, Peter is well known for the passion he brings to his photography. He has received worldwide recognition for his work, including winning the National Press Photographers Association - New England Region - Photographer of the Year eight times.
