WCCC Places First in NECCC BW Print Competition:
After a year-long hiatus, NECCC held a Winter Print competition recently. WCCC placed first in the BW category, with Christine Rosperich receiving a second place ribbon for her photo "Gazing Fox" (see below).
The club's Spring season is coming to a close! Highlights of activities planned over the coming weeks include:
- May 4: Digital Art Photography: One of the more creative categories for expressing your skills is digital Art Photography. Margie Joseph will lead a discussion about this intersection of photography and digital art.
- May 10 Mentor Night: Masking Techniques in Lightroom: Recent enhancements to the masking tools in Lightroom make it easier than ever to make selective adjustments to specific areas of your image. Hugh Fanning will lead a discussion and demo of these tools.
- May 18 Digital Competition: Landscape Photography: Our next club competition will be judged by Bob Singer, an award-winning photographer and educator with the Cape Cod Art Center. Deadline for submitting images is May 10.
- MeetUp Events: See our MeetUp page and check your emails for details on upcoming outings, including an Arbor Day Walk, Cherry Blossom Festival, and Steampunk Festival.
